Kammerchor Manila is non-profit choral organization founded in 1992 by Professor Fidel Calalang. The choir has become one of the Philippines’ premier church choirs; having won several awards and recognition from many prestigious national and international choral competitions while keeping itself anchored to its pillar, “A commitment to excellence in music, friendship, and service to God.
Currently through the musical direction of Mr. Anthony G. Villanueva, the ensemble continues to perform a wide repertoire of various styles & forms of musical genres ranging from madrigals to contemporary music, folkloric to modern OPM, and sacred to pop music showcasing the group’s versatility that has inspired its members and other church choirs to commit to excellence in music by elevating chorale music to its highest form.
Kammerchor Manila has engaged itself in music festivals, distinguished occasions and goodwill tours in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Switzerland, Italy, the Vatican, Czech Republic, Spain, South Korea, Hong Kong and Macau, China. KM has also participated in prestigious local and international choral competitions wherein they won multiple awards.
